The Jeffrye museum

I found the Jeffrye museum today, just off the Kingsland Road - I drive past it on my way back from the market most weeks but never imagined it would be so calm and lovely.

The exhibition at the moment is about Japanese homes. I really admire the organisation, lots of useful ideas for boat life. I learnt that lots of the homes are handed down through families but every 40 years or so they might be knocked down and rebuilt, like a very thorough spring clean.

Beautiful sparse plants.
I like house plants a lot, I'd like a window full of them.
And I'd water them with this, the best watering can ever.
