Good news.

I will be selling some of my little Pileas at the Knots pop-up shop.

  1. I love your pileas, I've fancied one for a little while now, but have not seen one for sale yet, I keep hoping to stumble across one (you know on a little table outside someone's door). Not sure I'll make it to the pop-up, though it does sounds rather good. Do you propagate them yourself?

  2. Hello Polly,
I do propagate most of them but I do sometimes stumble across them as well, at car boot sales and the like - I do go to a lot of car boot slaes mind. You should come to the pop-up! A perfect day out, and you can get a Vietnamese on the Kingsland Road before you head home.

  4. Hello Jo, I was wondering how you take care of your pileas? I have a tiny one and it keeps getting brown leaves. Any good advice? Thanks!

  5. Hello Lisa, they are stroppy plants at times, they get upset and crinkle or droop but they're tricky to kill. I keep mine quite dry then stand them in water for 5 minutes every two weeks or so. They also don't like direct sunlight, good on a shelf but not a windowsill so much. Good luck!
